The database user shouldn't have any rights on the database files. The
user the server runs as (ususally root, firebird or Administrator)
must have full access rights to the databases (including the security
database), config files, etc.

The user must be able to make a connection with the server machine,
and must have a valid Firebird username and password in order to do
something useful.
