seriously, even w/o going back to the LR, it is clear that FB won't
accept an absolute value in place of a field name.

My point was (and is) that this inability (to accept an absolute
value etc) is unnatural (it was common to use it in other commercial
products) and compels me to walk a long way in order to work around
it.
