Sorry for the latest discussion about the select for update with lock.

I read the article http://www.interbase-world.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=423 and find the way to correct the problem. That is on the IBX.

I've had read the article and had made the changes on the source code. But I do not haven't compiled it yet... That's the way I have the situation. Anyway tanks, and I will be more carefull...

Tanks for the attention.

You are rigth... The IBConsole don't do, and the IBExpert don't do too...

I test on two connections with the ISQL and the behaviour is the expected!!!
Now i need to know what component's for Delphi 7 will support this...

Thanks for the help.

Jean, IBConsole is based on IBX and together with them don't support
Select for update, even without lock. AFAIK IBExpert, which is based
on very old FIBPlus, process this statement incorrectly too, FIBPlus
support it since version 5.0 only. I'll contact Alexander Khvastunov
soon to force improvement of IBExpert, don't think it reqiures much
time.

Best regards, Alexander.
