Lorry,
demand and (most importantly) the willingness of someone to "take up the
charge" and volunteer to maintain the port(s). This applies to all
ports -- with the v1.5 efforts, there has been a lack of SuperServer
releases because no-one has had the time to build them.
v1.5 code has been significantly cleaned up and the build process
'streamlined'. You might want to try building that release.
