Subject Re: [firebird-support] How do I change the password for an Interbase GDB?
Author M Tuttle
I'm using Database Workbench and want to release my first application on
demo CD's. So I would like to make sure that the SYSDBA password is
something other than the default. I would then like to change the SYSDBA
password on the two databases I have out in the field. We do not use the
ISC4.GDB database to add users. We basically log everyone into the
production gdb with SYSDBA masterkey and then use an internal user table for
user codes, passwords, security rights, etc for the application. So do I
simply send out a new ISC4.GDB database with a different password for the
SYSDBA?

Thanks

Mike
