Synformation.com is a CMS which runs in a servlet container (Jakarta
Tomcat - no asp). We have been in contact with the main developer because
of some problems. He said that dialect 1 is needed for synformation.com.
The first interbase database I created for it didn't work (isql without -s
1).

What makes you think that the CMS would be dialect 1? There seems to be
very
little need for a CMS to adopt a specific dialect. Most of the fields in
the
CMS would be blobs.. no? Dialect 3 only makes date and timestamp
differences
really.
Does this CMS use ASP?
