Not a embedded database, but a "embedded server": a dll that you can call
from your application, that do everything a server does, without the need to
install a server.
For Firebird, very usefull when you want to deploy your application to be
used locally, without worry if there is already another application that
uses IB/Fb on that computer, gives you the abbility to create CDROM
databases without installing a server in your client computer, etc, etc,
etc. There are lots of applications to a embedded server.
