Actually, I was about to post, asking if FireBird had the equivalent
of MySQL's libmysqld.dll, ie. the client and server parts in one,
dependency-free DLL, and that can be called from Visual Basic.

For those interested, embedded MySQL works fine from PowerBasic, but
GPFs when calling even doing "Call mySQL_server_init(0,vbNull,vbNull)"
