IBX is maintained by Jeff Overcash. He has repeatedly stated that he will
do _nothing_ to keep IBX compatible with Firebird. That IBX mostly works
with Fb is more by chance than good will and efforts.
There have been talk (in the Fb NGs) about making (a 'clone' of) IBX
compatible with Fb - maybe you should ask in the firebird-tools NG.
If switching to another set of components is possible for you, you have
(the commercial products) IBO and FIBplus. There is also (a commercial)
dbExpress version for Fb.
