I don't think that there is a direct way to READ/WRITE DBF files directlu form Stored Procedures or triggers. There is a component set for delphi at www.tdbf.net FREE and open source. You can write a UDF for this action. Then use the UDF's funcs to read and write DBF data..

Hmm just a thought.
