Probably, I would say that there's no problem with IB 6.5, IB 7 I'm
not sure. But, evidently in the long run, you will have problems.

Maybe for now, but FB 2.0 might have a full revision of the protocol,
I think you can draw your own conclusions knowing this. IB and FB
client libraries can be compatible only for so long, before they
diverge.
