Same here. I'm quite happy running server on all local
machines, simply because it was all that was available. An
embedded local server would make things more secure, but
then I loose the advantage of being able to push stuff into
each local database if need be.

So it would be nice to be able to use either a local or
remote database, and I'm easy about how it is done, but some
means of running embedded and remote would be useful.
