Put every thing in one database file. By the way, what is the average
size of your Access files?

On Windows, Firebird 1.0 support 64-bit file I/O. So, the 4GB limit
no longer exists, the limit is whatever Windows can support,
apparently 16TeraByte minus 64KB, but the file can't be larger than
the volume or partition that it is on. So, if the volume is 160GB,
the file size limit should be almost 160GB on that volume.
