They would then have a misconception of the capabilities of Borland
support.

There is **no** way that a Borland support rep could know more about the
engine/bug/fixes than the combined resources of:
- IBPhoenix (which provides professional tech support)
- the subscribers to this list
- the developers on the Firebird-Dev list, who have direct
access to the sources
