Hopefully this won't happen - especially if Firebird users complain
before it is too late.

I suggest that anyone concerned about this should write to Asa Dotzler
at mailto:asa@..., _politely_ expressing their opinion.

Perhaps a world-wide email campaign may help them see reason.

IMO this decision by Mozilla is either selfish (assuming they already
knew about the Firebird project) or just dumb (assuming they just didn't
do the research.)
