Hi, just a quick reply as it just might be the ib-support news group
set-up...

My experience...

From the firebird site
(http://firebird.sourceforge.net/index.php?op=lists) I click on the
ib-support archives web site link and it takes me to a yahoo site where
I have to log on..."Sign in with your ID and password to continue"

BUT... If I do the same thing for the IBObjects archive link, it takes
me straight to the messages... No log on required.

Well, the whole yahoo thing might be off topic here, but I have to react

on this. I found Yahoo! groups to be one of the best services I've used.

You don't need to give your credit card number for age verification. You

just need a valid e-mail address and you can join Yahoo! groups. You
don't have to have a yahoo mail account at all. Besides, ib-support
group is not restricted by age (any 10-year old could join it), so it is

not the problem. Once you are the member of the group, searching is
easy. Please give it a try, you will not regret (hopefully).
