I have tried to use the command-line gfix (FB 1.0) but keep getting messages
about "incompatible switch combination"s. Can someone please help me with a
command line which will do a cleanup/repair of the database safely?

The command line help and 6.0 manuals give all the options, but no
indication that I can find as to the appropriate combination of switches.
