OK Sorry - slightly wrong syntax on my revoke statement
funny that the syntax error does not create an exception.. why is this?
e.g.
revoke all ON DESKTOPUSER FROM "01CLARKKENT"
does not raise an error??

Oh - and I can't delete them manually out of the table because SYSDBA does
not have privilege to delet from this table>

Subject: [ib-support] RDB$USER_PRIVILEGES Question

I've just noticed that after adding users to my server, granting them
privileges, then deleting them, I'm left with entries in my
RDB$USER_PRIVILEGES table. I only spotted this becuase IBLogmanager lists
these people as USERS in the database, even though they are not on the
server anymore and have no priviliges.
Another Q - they are listed as having the M Privilege.
I've tried re-creating these users, then revoking their rights to the ROLE
they are privilege to but they remain in the table.
Anyone know how they are deleted? How do I stop these deleted users from
remaining in this table?

thanks
Alan
