Something must be wrong with your application design and/or
network. IBExpert just get connected to remote database through 2 Mb
DSL line in 10 seconds (including retrieving information about DB
structures).
Do you use 'Full fetch' with large selections at startup?.. Load a
large executable over DSL (Delphi executables tend to be really large
sometimes)?
