Hi All,

I have a problem with VERY slow (20-30 sec.) connect/disconnect to Firebird
ver.1.02 on a Windows XP Pro box. Actually ONLY the first connection
is slow. After that everything goes ok.

Firebird is running on a drive with system restore turned off.
Generally I have tried all the stuff people suggest in the Google
interbase list with no effect.

Right now it's not an issue for me because this is my workstation, but
I am not sure if we will have this problem with the shortly comming
Win 2003 Server.
