You have to register the server doing

instsvc install "c:\program files\firebird" -auto

to install the service, and

instreg install "c:\program files\firebird"

to register the server in your registry

There is also a fully working installer created by Tony Caduto using Wise
9.2 in http://www.amsoftwaredesign.com/downloads/FB15_Setup.EXE
