that's a lttle simpler - you just grab the user at logon and see if it
exists in the stringlist of users at the server, if it does, then you show a
message and app.exit.

Hi Alan,
Thanks for your answer.
I was thinking something on server side, like a trigger on
connect/disconnect user.
On connect time, if user already connected (the same user on another
machine, for instance), server deny connection.
Regards,
Gustavo.

You can use IBO components to get a string list of the users currrently
connected.
if you're using the ISC4.gdb file to reflect "your users" then I know only
one way to do it..
You would have to make a SYDBA connection to isc4.gdb(s) in question and
remove them as users... perhaps save their details in another database so
you can restore them if needed.

Subject: [ib-support] Connected Users
Hi All,
Is there some way to check which users are connected and to disconnect
some
one ?
I want to block the same username in 2 machines at same time.
Thanks in advance.
Gustavo.
