there's got to be something in the fields...
try updating one seting a field to NULL and try it again

Using ISQL gives me exactly the same result.

I get every record when testing for NOT NULL (incl. all NULL fields)
And I get NO records when using:
WHERE NOT COMMENTS = '';

I'm quite baffled by this....
Seems like something strange is going on here
