I think you might be able to calculate a "dry" (or tare) size, but this
wouldn't help you much. It would all depend on how much traffic the database
were to receive. e.g. if you did a datapump style update to all records in
one hit - it would double (roughly) the size of the gdb file since you would
retain the previous version of records.
Not a very satisfying thing to attempt
