We host IBPhoenix and several other sites in our office in Manchester, a
small town in Massachusetts. Yesterday morning at about 3 AM local - 8
AM GMT - the power failed. Our office building and all the buildings
for about four blocks were dark. All commercial activity in Manchester
stopped until about 9 PM - AM this morning GMT. In the 12 years (could
it be that long?) I've worked here, we've never had the power out for
more than an hour or two. We will arrange with our ISP for collocation
services so this won't happen again.
