We were using this kind of query in a (pretty large) application
running on DB2 platform. I was quite used with it and a bit
disappointed because I couldn't do the same in FireBird. However, the
workaround with views is working.

I won't ask when the 2.0 will be available :) But is good to know
that this is planned in the next version.
