I stand corrected, as when I create any database, I set the sweep intreval
to 0 to disable sweep and I backup and restore often.

you don't deactivate an automatic sweep with "gfix -w async".
You will turn FORCED WRITES OFF, and doing that under Windows,
you will ask for troubles. ;-)
