Is secure create a new domain and to do something as:
UPDATE RDB$RELATION_FIELDS
SET RDB$FIELD_SOURCE='NEW_DOMAIN_NAME'
WHERE (RDB$FIELD_NAME='FIELD_NAME' AND
(RDB$RELATION_NAME='TABLE_NAME')

references. That creates dependencies. So start at the bottom of the
dependency chain. You can put the dependencies back once you have changed
the domain name everywhere.
And use this as a learning experience for next time you have to design
names for your database objects. :-)
