Helen, sorry for late interference here (I'm pretty busy last month
and couldn't watch the list), but I'm afraid people can think it's
national feature. Unfortunately we in Russia really often encounter
tendency to steal intellectual property and there are objective
reasons for it in our life, but this occurance beats everything even
for accustomed human. Personally I think it was really ill man.
For information of community: I, being main consultant of the
"Interbase World" book, can definitely say that author's emoluments
namely on this book were very frugal, price of the book was minimized
to just to fit requirements of publishers and is small enough to be
available for every student. All consultants made their work without
payment at all. It was act of promotion supported by all Russian
IB/FB/YA community, not a commercial undertaking.
