1.5.0-Alpha3 lacks a lot of new bugfixes and features.
(my favourite feature is savepoints wich I test now)
But it is the only one that does not have this problem
so it is rather your choice wich one to use.

I use alpha 5, ignore the latency and never install
XP at my clients.
