2. I brought up this issue just as a matter of conversion. In fact, I plan on going back to my production DBISAM product and adding another column containing the UpperCaes(Name) as I suspect Helen is correct in that it will be faster... there as well.
3. Thanks for all the responses... I didn't mean to start anything this big<g>
