I forget which package we installed on our 'problem' system,
but it gave ping times for every site every X minutes, and
you could set it to log only times longer than a set time.
Wish we had installed it when we first set the system up.
Since the routers have been configured properly, there has
been nothing in the log. I can find out what it is if you want?

We tend to think that our suppliers know what they are doing
and look elsewhere first. Now I always start with what is
obviously correct as the best place to find a problem. Once
you KNOW it could not be that, THEN you start blaiming your
own stuff <g>
