I don't know any udf that do this, and I just have that kind of code for
portuguese.
May I ask you why are do you need this in the server side? I really don't
see any application for storing on the database the string-representation of
a number.
Why don't you do it on the client side, and search in google for this? I'm
sure you will find lot's of examples of doing it in different program
languages.
