Use double-quotes where you have long file names, spaces in dir names
etc. For example, the following works just fine:

gbak -b "y:\gdb_6\Knowledgebase\knowledgebase.gdb" "y:\database
backups\knowledgebasebackup.gdb" -user sysdba -password masterkey
