There is FirebirdWorkbench (http://www.upscene.com) it's not
free but when you buy this cheap and good tool you contributed
to the Firebird project and its developers.
(see http://www.ibphoenix.com).
I use it often and i like it very much.
But ofcourse there are more partners it's up to you to decide
what to use, but keep in mind that with buying FBW you
contribute to the Firebird project.
