Possibly, possibly not. Win98 is not really ideal for a database server.
You would be well advised to run Firebird on an NT/Win2k/XP box.

However, I understand that may not be a practical option, so let's see
if we can solve the problem you are having. In the Firebird install
directory you should find a file called 'interbase.log'. Can you post
the error message(s) from the server?

Also, you will find a similar log file on the clients. There may also be
messages of interest there.

Please don't post the entire log files, though - just excerpts from
around the time of the last failure should be enough to get us started.
