Yes. Without going into too much off-topic detail, IBO has its own
handling of "remembered password" storage in applications - you need to
consult the IBO help and/or IBO online FAQ and/or the ibobjects list for
clarification. (Note that the latest IBO help build has copious detail on
this topic - select the PasswordStorage property from the index...)

You can test whether all is properly hooked up by trying to connect to the
database on that machine using IB_SQL, with the username and password
explicitly typed into the login fields.
