Hi Dion,
By specifiying SERVER: you specify the TCP/IP protocol. It doesn't say
anything
about drive letters.. For example, on a Linux server, it could be:
myserver:\usr\data\fb\mydatabase.gdb
See, no drive letter, but only the first colon after the server name.
In \\Server1\Production\Product.GDB -- is \\Server1\Production a share? If
so,
this cannot be used. Only local file specifications can be used...
