Windows 2000 *does* have Windows File Protection (WFP + SFC). It
does *not* have XP's System Restore service.

As far as I am aware, the GDB issue does not involve WFP but SR only -
- specifically because SR uses the file FILELIST.XML as its catalogue
for determining what to backup and GDB is in there. To complicate
matters, FILELIST.XML is one of the files protected by WFP. See last
week's long thread for further clarification.
