Hi Richard,
I usually use a stored proc for this task:
for select <primary key>
from <mytable
into :PK
do begin
delete from <mytable>
where <primary key> = :PK;
end
After deleting all records from the table i execute a
select count (*) from <mytable>
in an own transaction to release old record versions.
