There's no reason a database engine couldn't adopt this type of protocol,
but it's also not necessary when any responsible networking dewd(ette)
wouldn't let anyone use anything less. Besides, then what would I have
left to do? It would be nice to see tunneling routines built into the
client objects though. GDS32.dll would be way kewl with SSH and Zebedee
built in, and maybe even an extension to IBObjects or some such.
