I just found an "Open Source dbExpress Driver" on SourceForge.net. It
connects to ODBC and a person can add support for a Firebird ODBC, or even
start from that source code, as a template, to create a dbExpress driver
for Firebird. I know that I will have to take the time to create one, at
least before the next official release of Firebird. If it wouldn't be for
the project specs that I'm going to start on, I'd stick with IBO. But, the
project demands for the support of multiple RDBMS, because of the multiple
clients lined up to buy it when it's ready.
