I have used a variety of different tools including Zeos.
The one thing I can say about Zeos as opposed to all other free tools is
it allows you to deal with blobs.

All others I have experimented with and used lack support in that area.

I have some clients who to this day from time to time use Zeos.

The latest release I was not to impressed with since when viewing a
table it would extract all blobs, where an older version just has

blob for an empty blob
and
BLOB for a full one

I believe the version I prefer is 1.1.3, 1.1.4 I did not like for the
reasons above.

Although lately my favorite is IBAccess. It's available for win or my
platform of choice Linux.

Although it does lack support for blobs. :(

Oh well beggars can't be choosers when dealing with free software. :)
