Paul,
The history of Features as bugs goes back to the early days of the
project and of the SourceForge site/functions.
1. SF added support for Features separate from bugs later in the
project.
2. A number of Features had already been posted to the Bug list.
3. There is no ability to move items between bugs and features without
re-keying the entry -- I'm a lazy SOB.
4. The supporting/maintenance tables are distinct between Features and
Bugs -- therefore twice the maintenance (see previous item for
motivation).
