The Win32 binaries have an installer to take care of this. Don't know
about the Linux binaries.

No. Both binaries are for Intel

They don't exist. You will have to compile them yourself.

You can checkout the source via CVS from the Firebird project. You need
the OdbcJdbc module. See http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=9028
for details about how to gain access. You also need the ODBC headers.
These should be available from http://www.unixodbc.org/.
