Subject RE: [ib-support] Performance on server and DB Corrupt
Author Wilson, Fred
10054 doesn't have to indictive of network problems. It simply means that
the client side of a winsock connection has disappeared. You'll see it if
your client applications are disconnecting properly, such as a user simply
turning the client PC off without shutting down the application (assuming
that your application(s) shutdown the connection(s) properly at shutdown)..
As mentioned, it can also be a network problem, network card, cable, power
supply, whatever.
BTW, what problems or messages are you seeing thats leading you to believe
that you have a corrupt database ?

Best,

Try Changing the RAM..
BTW 10054.. that one occurs a lot when you have network problems. Maybe
misconfigured networks services?
just check that in your c:\windows\hosts there are all the ips and names of
the necesary machines.
