hi, i will correct me,
i tried it now with the last beta before FB1, its the same there ...
the connecttimes are between 2 and 10 seconds ...
perhaps its an IBO-special?
or i made something wrong ...
i use TCP and my ping-results are very fast to the db-server,
that couldn't be the reason (wrong or bad DNS-resolution or so)
its the same with ip-number instead of computername (and DNS)
....
