All I got from that was a conversion error :-)

I should clarify that IB is only dumber than a $5 calculator on
division. That's the only arithmetic function that is a hassle
because you then have to explicitly type every value involved. If
it's multiplication, addition, or subtraction then there is no
problem at all. (Ahem, please disregard my earlier announcement
regarding 'the sky is falling!').

I'm curious why division is a problem but multiplication is okay,
since both involve decimal manipulation.

Anyway, I will just have to burn into my brain that if I make any
calculation involving division I must CAST everything in the
calculation.
