Hi Guido.
My SP worked fine. I was grumbling about the fact that I had to
explicitly CAST every single value/constant or else the result was
unpredictable due to rounding errors or whatever internal datatype
the core engine was choosing.
I've since studied Geoff Worboys' IB numerics doc and understand a
little better how critical precision/scale is, but I'm still
flabbergasted that such casting is necessary to that degree. Anyway,
it's all there in my recent posts. Time for me to 'Get over it!' as
Dr Phil says.

Andrew Ferguson
