When I told the TV repair man that my TV didn't work (I didn't have a clue
as to what was wrong - it was an "unspecified error"), I let him take a
look at my TV. You have only told us that you have a problem, but given us
no clue as to what it is or any way to check what could be wrong. I think a
prerequisite for anyone to help you, would be to see the code causing the
error (and preferably some information about versions of FB/IB and ODBC).
If you also tell us if you can manage to access the tables from any other
tool, e.g. IB_SQL, a lot of potential problems could be eliminated (missing
gds32.dll or server not started etc.)
